Minnesota is known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes", and the state's name comes from a Dakota word for "sky-tinted water". Those waters, together with forests, parks, and wilderness areas, offer residents and tourists a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. Nearly sixty percent of Minnesota's residents live in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area, the transportation, business, industry, and education center.
Once primarily a producer of raw materials, Minnesota's economy has transformed to emphasize finished products and services. Perhaps the most significant characteristic of the economy is its diversity. Thirty-three of the United States' top one thousand publicly traded companies are headquartered in Minnesota including, Target, UnitedHealth Group, 3M, Medtronic, General Mills, U.S. Bancorp, and Best Buy. The largest privately owned U.S. company, Cargill, is headquartered in Minnetonka.
The manufacturing sector now includes technology and biomedical firms in addition to the older food processors and heavy industry. The state is the U.S.'s largest producer of sugar beets, sweet corn, and green peas for processing, and farm-raised turkeys. Forestry remains strong, including logging, pulpwood processing and paper production, and forest products manufacturing. The state produces as much as seventy-five percent of the country's usable iron ore, and the port of Duluth continues to be important for shipping ore, coal, and agricultural products.
The state produces ethanol fuel and is the country's fourth-largest producer of wind power, much of which is produced on the windy Buffalo Ridge in the southwest part of the state.

You want to know how much it will cost for some car repairs? That's a bit like asking, "How much for a car?" There's obviously a huge variance in price, depending on what kind of automobile you have, what kind of service you want done and what kind of expertise youre looking for.
Why do you need car repair estimates? Well, before a wedding ring, there's an engagement ring (a "promise"). Before a business venture, there's an agreement (a "promise"). Before a binding deal, there's a contract (a "promise"). Like it or not, the world is run on arbitrations and...
Want to know about car mechanics? Sit on down and I'll tell you all about the old days of the car mechanic. That was when people brought the old Tin Lizzie in to him because she was rattling something fierce, and the mechanic, who was covered in oil, dirt and grease, took his rusty old tools, banged around on her a bit and said, "that'll be ...
Auto body shops are places where most people generally aren't comfortable, probably because they're intimidated by the work that's being done. After all, it's not like a lube station or a battery replacement store - entire automobiles are being repaired here, some with major overhauls. Major car repair isn't something most people know anything...
